A Story | Satya’s founder meets one of her greatest inspirations

Our Newest Partner | Bar Bombon

IntroducingThe Spring Juice Collection

Last week, Satya Juice took a leap of faith in the direction of everything it stands for–connection, wellness, and the disruption of limiting beliefs.

Our founder, Erika Ianoale, attended the Wealth & Achievement Summit in Philadelphia, which featured prominent motivational speakers, entrepreneurs, and exemplars of excellence.

At the conference, Erika formed a connection and an experience that evokes the spirit of Satya–authentic, honest, and certainly bold. Through a series of coincidences and well-timed risks Erika made her way to meeting one of her greatest inspirations: Tony Robbins.

Taking every strand of wisdom that comes her way with a grain of salt, Erika found Tony’s teachings help her connect more deeply with her vision and retrain her mind to seek out the highest good for herself and others. Years later, the result of her determination and her passion for wellness has culminated in Satya Juice–a product that nourishes, inspires, and supports others along their path of wellness.

After meeting with Tony backstage and seeing him drink our Sapphire during his talk, Satya left the event with a sense of renewed sense of gratitude and faith in our product.

Satya took a huge risk to share our passion for wellness. What are you willing to risk to spread your light to the world?

That’s right–Tony Robbins and Erika, the founder of Satya Juice!

A few times a year, we all go through the struggle of keeping ourselves healthy and on-track during the holidays. Whether it be a big family meal or a simple evening at your favorite restaurant, we tend to focus less on our health and more on The Right Now. The Right Now refers to the instant feeling you get when you sit down and stare at a delicious spread or when you scan a special Easter menu at a restaurant and you want to devour everything in sight, with no regard for what you’re putting in your body. All you can focus on is the instant satisfaction you’ll feel when you eat all your favorite foods. What we don’t think about how you’re going to feel tomorrow or how you’re even going to feel right after the meal. That’s why we’re here! Here are some tips and tricks to to provide some insight during the holiday, but still being able to enjoy your meal.

Some things you can do pre-holiday meal include, setting boundaries, recruiting outside support from a date or a friend, setting aside time for self-care prior to the meal, packing healthy snacks, and knowing your triggers. Before you head out to that special dinner that you’ve been excitedly waiting for all month, take a second to write down your goals for the evening in your journal. After the meal, you can update your goals with how you did at the event. This will help you keep yourself honest and keep you from drifting from your goals. In order to stick to these goals, enlisting a friend or family member to gently remind each other of your goals for the night so you don’t fall too far off the wagon.

Taking time to ditch your stress can keep you from over-eating from stress or anxiety so be sure to take time out to do some yoga or knock out a quick workout before you go out or practice some breathing exercises you can bust out during your downtime during the party if you find yourself getting stressed or anxious. It’s also important to not be so hard on yourself. If you do eat one marshmallow peep, and it leads to a dozen marshmallow peeps, try not to beat yourself up. Everyone slips up sometimes, especially during the holidays.

Once the festivities begin, now that you’re facing the deliciously tempting food spread, it is important to keep a level head. You can do this by choosing quality over quantity, keeping chocolate only for dessert time, and rethinking the food gifts that you give. Instead of tasting one of everything, pick two or three things that really catch your eye, or your stomach, and indulge in those items. Going for the options you only get at Easter time instead of regular everyday foods will also keep you on track. and if you can’t resist the need for chocolate, choose dark chocolate over milk- it’s more filling and full of antioxidants. Lastly, when giving food gifts or bringing a plate, think about picking fruits or raw nuts instead of chocolates or other sweets. You can also choose some handmade crafts as great gifts!

Don’t let the fear of breaking your diet or falling off the wagon stop you from enjoying your holiday. And if you do stray away, you can always get your body back in shape with a Satya juice cleanse- delivered right to your door! Pistachio Mylk is perfect for replenishing your body after a binge.

We are talking about all things LOVE!
Self-love, romantic love & what we love… and we are excited to discuss them all.

When February rolls around we are always so concerned with love – our feelings for others and how we can show how much love we have for them. But what we also need to remember to focus on is our love for ourselves. Love doesn’t always need to be romantic but also includes feeling good and caring for ourselves. Here are some ways in which we can focus on our own heart health while we also show our loved ones that we care.

Create a Self-Love Diet & Eat Mindfully

There is a saying that you are what you eat. So why would you want to put fatty, junky things into your body when you can consume foods that are not only healthier, but provide you with the nutrients you need to live a happier, healthier life with a clear mind? It is crucial to accept the fact that your body deserves to feel good, so you can make the next step of actively searching for those delicious, healthy feel-good foods that you can feed your body.

Feeding your body is a balancing act. Sticking with a nutrient-rich diet will give you more energy and make you feel better on the inside, but it is also important to treat yourself occasionally. So go ahead and splurge on that favorite pasta dish or on your favorite sweet treat. If you don’t satiate your desire for that guilty-pleasure treat, you will start to resent all those healthy meals and binge more on the bad stuff.

Don’t make yourself feel ashamed or guilty about what you eat, always stay mindful because moderation and balance is healthy. Take the time to enjoy your food and eliminate distractions.

Trust Your Body

Only you know what is best for your body. Listen to what it is telling you. Feeling light-headed and hungry but food isn’t satisfying that need? Drink some water. Legs feeling restless at night? Try a potassium-rich food like a banana to help keep your legs still. Incorporating Magnesium in your diet will help optimize your mental health, ease depression, headache, irritability, and insomnia.

Let Go of Perfection

Being perfect is not a realistic goal, especially in your diet. When you strive for perfection you only set yourself up for disappointment. Setting realistic goals will not only help you accomplish what you want, but will also help you protect yourself from a negative mindset. Remember to be kind to yourself because nobody is perfect and being happy and healthy is better than being perfect any day.

Pursue Movement in Your Body

Keep your body moving. Get your blood and endorphins flowing. Try a new yoga class or go out dancing with the people you love. Grab some boxing gloves and go kickboxing. Take a trip and swim in the ocean. Take a walk with your four-legged friend. No matter what you do, just move.

Soup for your Soul: Our New Soup & Juice Cleanse

Our new soup & juice cleanse is the perfect way to start your new year. Eat and drink your way to health.

The month of January is full of self-reflection, resolutions and usually includes an upset stomach or two from all the wonderful food consumed at all those holiday gatherings. We wake up to a fresh New Year’s Day morning and find ourselves feeling a year older and (hopefully) a year wiser. But so many times our resolutions remain the same year after year and we fall into an endless cycle of feeling unaccomplished. Why? Because we’re human! Because our daily lives and responsibilities can get in the way of our dreams and plans. Because it’s hard to change.
But what we need to realize, is that change IS possible. All change takes is creating a solid plan, building a new approach and of course, gathering up some dedication.

Need some motivation? Here are some tips to help you achieve your goals this year.

1. Tunnel Vision. Stick with one specific resolution. Too many resolutions will overextend your efforts and feel overwhelming.

2. Stay Focused. Create little reminders: By putting a daily, recurring reminder on your phone, a post-it on your mirror, we can keep ourselves centered and make it easier to reestablish our intention and goals when things get busy.

3. Expect little stumbles. Understand that life is not all or nothing. If you get sidetracked, hit a bump or fall behind, it doesn’t mean that you should give up. Life will test you and maybe knock you down a few times, but know that you’re strong enough to get back up and continue on.

4. Reward yourself. Think of little gifts to give yourself as you make strides and get closer to achieving your goal. Little incentives will help keep you motivated to continue.

5. Keep it positive. Consider this as challenge or a competition with yourself. It won’t be easy but nothing will be able to beat the feeling of being proud of yourself for attaining your goal.

Here’s to a very happy, healthy and thriving  New Year.

Stronger Immunity

When the cold weather starts to show it’s wicked face, our bodies are never fully prepared for it. We pull our sweaters out of storage and bundle up with scarves and hats on top of our many layers, but part of us is always in denial about what is actually to come.

During the winter months, people spend more time inside and in close contact with each other; especially in public places. This means that colds, coughs and the flu are more easily spread. Not only can the inside of  your body suffer, but so can the outside. That dry winter air can suck the moisture from your skin and cause cracks and cuts. So how do we defeat this winter war on our bodies?

By mixing up your diet with healthy foods, you can create a great foundation of general health and well being.  By equipping yourself with healthy eating habits, you are able to build on those habits in order to keep your immunity up when the cold weather hits. By sticking with foods in season, you are accepting the foods from nature that are providing the nutrients you need to survive that particular time of year. Whole grains and Plant Protein have a huge impact on your immune system too, so it is important to include enough of them in your diet. Include more veggies with high water content to hydrate from the inside out.

The key is to relax, catch some z’s, and make sure you keep an eye on your digestive system. High stress levels weaken your immune system. Sometimes you can’t eliminate all the causes of stress in your day-to-day life, but listen to your body and when it ‘asks’ for time off, don’t ignore it. Activities like reading, having a bath, walking, running, yoga, pilates and meditation can be effective in releasing tension and stress. Sleep gives your body a chance to rest, repair and keep that immune system of yours strong and ready to defend against any nasty invaders. We are what we eat, so be conscious of what you’re consuming. Foods high in probiotics like our very own Fire Cider, Kefir, Kombucha drinks, Tempeh and Miso will help aid your digestive track.

My name is Stella  and I ordered a 3 day cleanse from you for last weekend. I wanted to share a couple things I experienced during my first cleanse.
For starters, I’d like to say that I’ve never cleansed before. I was definitely nervous about the process. It seemed odd to go without food for 3 days but my friend recommended I do it with her…I was definitely reluctant. However, I’m really glad she pushed me to do it.

First and foremost, I want to thank the Satya Team for being so accommodating to my dietary restrictions and life threatening food allergies. After reaching out to you via email,  I was so impressed with how seriously you reacted to my needs and restrictions.

It has been one day since I finished cleansing. The first day was hard. I felt more of a longing for the act of eating food than for food itself. The juices really filled me up. I relied on raw veggies throughout the first day, off and on.

The second day was much better. I noticed that I was hydrating much more consistently. A part of me expected to feel exhausted… but it was quite the opposite! I went to yoga feeling strong and looked forward to drinking the next juice.

The third and final day was the easiest. It was so easy to combine cleansing with work. I didn’t expect that. I packed my juices in an insulated lunchbox (w/4 frozen gel packs) and went along my day as planned.

I have to say, although it was hard as a beginner (who’s no fitness guru 🙂 to do this… I am so happy I did. My body feels clean, energized, and I emotionally feel really upbeat. I actually feel so incredible today that I’m sad I don’t have a juice to drink. Definitely expect to see more orders from me in the future!

Winter Wellness

In this edition we will be discussing the very prevalent topic of how to keep up our immunity in order to beat the winter months’ wrath. None of us can stand the sniffling and coughing and the achy pains when we catch whatever is “going around”, so we want to arm our Satya Family with easy ways to help give our immune systems a boost.

We will also be discussing the top natural ingredients for winter wellness.

Keep an eye out for our latest promo which includes our 4 newest juices. We hope you’ll love them as much as we do, as well as our Juice Spotlight:

This immune-boosting “Miraculous” elixir makes apple cider vinegar look tame. Start each day with 1 Tbsp. of Fire Cider.

Fire Cider is a tonic produced by steeping ginger, garlic, onions, horseradish, turmeric, rosemary, and peppers in apple cider vinegar for a minimum of six weeks.

The flavor falls somewhere between pickle juice and Kombucha—and when you take a straight shot of it, the heat of horseradish wakes up your senses and boosts your immunity.

Fire Cider is made from nutritional powerhouses—horseradish in particular. It’s an incredibly “powerful botanical”.

Impressive ingredients that go on and on:

*Garlic is an antioxidant and can help regulate blood pressure

*Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties

*Ginger has warming abilities

*Horseradish boosts metabolism

As the seasons change so does our body’s ability to handle them. Sip on this tonic and say no way to getting sick this season…

Each bottle is 16 ounces, has a 6 Month Shelf Life and gives you a few weeks’ worth of daily shots.

  Vitamin C

Surprisingly, the human body doesn’t produce this wonder vitamin for itself. This makes it crucial for us to find foods rich in Vitamin C like oranges, grapefruits, and pomegranates.

With its ability to support immunity against illnesses like the common cold with speed and ease, this herb can help reduce the severity and duration of your cold.

Pelargonium Root

Native to South Africa, this cold and flu fighting plant is used for upper respiratory infections including bronchitis, sinusitis, sore throats, tonsillitis and the common cold.

Vitamin D

Even though we may feel like we have plenty of sunshine in the summer – we’re often deficient in this vitamin in the winter. Commonly known for keeping bones strong, it is also well known for its effective immune strengthening benefits.

In this day and age, it can become increasingly difficult to figure out ways to concentrate not only on our physical well-being, but our mental well-being as well. But who says they should be cared about separately? There are many ways in which we can utilize tricks and tips in order to become our best selves. All we have to do is remember to stay mindful, and the rest will follow.

With the flood of daily tasks and routines rushing past us, we continuously worry about a million different things. Am I on time? Did I bring what I needed to bring with me? What’s next? We can even find ourselves thinking weeks and even months in advance. But what we hardly find time to concentrate on is the present; what is happening here and now. Taking the time to slow down and meditate on what you’re doing and what’s going on in your life can transform your entire well-being.

Next time you have an event to go to, take the time to be present during the event. Take mental snapshots of what you’re wearing, who you are with, funny or memorable things said, and moments that made you smile. Put away your phone and make conversations. Have discussions and open your mind to new things. Don’t worry about what everyone else is thinking or if they’re having a good time. Try to keep yourself in the moment so that you can reflect on it later and incorporate the things that made you happy into your daily life.

One day we are going to look back on the moments that helped formed who we are, and we want to make sure that we remember every bit that we can. Our memories and thoughts are what make us the person that we are, so we need to make sure that we are doing our best to get the most out of every thought and action that we carry out.

G R A T I T U D E  A N D  W H A T  I T

C A N  D O  F O R  Y O U

Staying gracious and taking a moment to appreciate the good things in our lives can yield wondrous results. With all the drama and the fast-pace of our daily lives, we can sometimes be found guilty of getting caught up in all the negativity out in the world and can end up dwelling on the negative things in our lives. Even if you have had a terrible day, sitting down and thinking about all the things you are grateful and thankful for can open your mind and improve not only your mood within, but your mood towards others.

One ways in which you can show your gratitude is to start a journal. Meditating on the good things in your life and pursuing a self-reflection can open your mind to positivity. Writing down 5 things that you are thankful for at the end of each day can help you dismiss the things that might have affected you negatively and fill your mind with all the things that make you happy.

Another way you can express your gratitude is to be giving to those around you.  Saying thank you to someone who held the door to you or giving a compliment to someone on something you admire about them could potentially turn their day around and encourage them to be more positive.

It can be hard at times to stay on track with eating healthy, but there are a few easy ways to pause for a second, take a step back, and make more informed and better decisions when you’re eating, without sacrificing the things you love.

Ask yourself: “Do I really want this?”

Taking a second to ask yourself this easy question before you eat can really go a long way. It can help gauge how hungry you are and the reason behind why you’re eating. People can also misread their thirst for hungry! So take a second and assess before you dive in.

Have lunch anywhere but your desk

It has been believed that although you can do many different tasks while you eat at your desks, you’re not really fully paying attention to what you’re eating. As a result, you are less than satisfied with your meal and can end up eating more than is needed.

Play with texture

By playing with the textures of your food, you can wake up your taste buds and your sense of “food adventure.” Ways you can switch it up is by freezing grapes, softening up your sandwich with a slice of avocado, or sprinkling some pretzels over your frozen yogurt.

Organize your cluttered kitchen

A recent Wansink study published in Environment and Behavior found that “having a neat eating environment helps you feel like the world is less out of control,” he explains, “and reduces the chances of eating from anxiety.”

End your meal with a favorite

Saving the best for last can help us become more satisfied after we eat. So saving your favorite part of the meal for last can help you end on a positive note and can save you from eating more, later.

  • Use ashwagandha as an adaptogenic hormone balancer: it works to heal adrenals, re-balance hormones and support restorative sleep. Ashwagandha is best in tincture form. Add in turmeric to help reduce energy-draining inflammation.
  • Reduce your caffeine intake: Eliminating/reducing your intake will help to alleviate general pain, menstrual cramps, reduce internal stress and decrease overall body tension. This will also give your adrenals a chance to re-balance and heal.
  • Drink more water: When you hydrate properly, extra salt leaves your body in your urine and will help stop swelling and bloating that can both be uncomfortable and drain your energy. Shoot for half your body weight in ounces daily!
  • Dry brush for tighter, toned skin that radiates, and to help your body detox: Dry Brushing benefits include, overall detoxification, reduction of fluid retention, exfoliation, improved circulation, improved skin tone, reduction of cellulite, improved skin tone, increased immunity, improved lymph flow, smoother, brighter skin, decongested skin, opening and cleansing pores.
  • Make sure to include lots of healthy fats and oils into your diet: Take all your Omegas, 3s, 6s, and 9s.
  • Exercise: to get your blood and circulation moving.
  • Increase your intake of iron-rich foods before and during your menses: to replace what you’ve lost each month and to avoid anemia: High sources of iron include: beet root, spinach, dark leafy greens, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, lentils, chickpeas, navy beans, kidney beans, olives and nettle tea.
  • Try “Blackstrap” molasses: It contains 3.5 mg of iron per tablespoon, and has been used in folk medicine as a “blood builder” for centuries. This ancient traditional method of detoxification and rejuvenation is essentially the most luxurious detox you could ever dream of.
  • Consume magnesium-rich foods: Vital for regulating hundreds of functions in the body, magnesium plays an important role in preventing mood swings and irritability, poor sleep, headaches, bloating and fluid retention. Some magnesium-rich foods to your diet include pumpkin seeds, dark leafy greens, figs and bananas.
  • Drink red raspberry leaf tea: it re-mineralizes the body, is high in B vitamins and tones the uterus, relieving menstrual cramping.
  • Drink chamomile tea: it contains properties that relieve muscle spasms and may therefore help reduce the severity of menstrual cramps. In addition, chamomile also reduces tension that may lead to anxiety and irritability.

We rarely talk about food outside of the context of juice.
Today that changes.
We’ll be discussing plant-based nutrition, what it is and and why people love it.This is F R E S H  P R E S S E D,
where we share whats on our minds with “no additives included.”

W H Y  W E  L O V E  P L A N T – B A S E D

We love the plant-based approach to eating because our objectives at Satya are bigger than simply juicing. Satya was founded to help people get well, feel well, and eat well.

We frequently talk about assisting people on “their journey to wellness.” Those words mean that  if someone wants to become healthier and initiate change we are here for them. We describe it as a journey because we are all at different stages of becoming the person we want to be.

That is why we are discussing plant-based nutrition today. This is a topic that anyone can relate to. Of fundamental importance is consuming real food, unprocessed products of the earth.

I think we can all agree, with either a sigh or a chuckle,
that we “should be eating more fruits and veggies”
Plant-based nutrition sheds light on why…

T H E  B A S I C S  O F
P L A N T – B A S E D  N U T R I T I O N

Plant-based whole foods can be incorporated into any lifestyle and to any extent.

It is one of many incredibly healthy diets for your body and it simply “makes sense!”

It allows us to connect more to our body and to our relationship with food. It helps create an awareness of how we can heal and nourish our bodies with food containing live nutrients.
(and just another excuse to buy gorgeous, vibrant produce!)

Why Plant-Based Foods Matter.

We stand up for health, our planet, our animals, and our communities.

It matters because everyday decisions are what inspires change. The change we want to make involves supporting the earth, protecting the living creatures that inhabit it, and nourishing our body with foods that heal.
What Foods Are Staples in Plant Based Nutrition?

  1. Fruits
  2. Vegetables
  3. Root Crops (ex. beets, carrots)
  4. Tuber Crops (ex, yams, potatoes)
  5. Nuts
  6. Seeds
  7. Legumes (ex. beans)
  8. Yeast
  9. Mushrooms
  10. Grains

What the Health is a documentary that you may have seen on your Netflix “Now Trending” category or heard about in passing. It is starting a lot of conversations and delves into the direct correlations between food and disease.

A recommended watch for anyone interested in understanding why what we eat matters for ourselves but also on a broader scale.

M Y  A H – H A  M O M E N T !

I was fortunate in my 20’s to be able to travel the globe, and my greatest impression was of the open air food markets in places like Italy, Spain, and Thailand, where fresh fruits and vegetables in all their stunning color and variety were spread out for display and purchase. People bought fresh local produce for a day or two’s consumption. No processed food, canned, frozen or packaged food, just real food straight from mother earth.

At Satya, that is our truth, we take fresh organic, local when possible, fruits and vegetables, and press them till we fill up our bottles with just the juice that is squeezed out. All Real.

Our brains are essential to how we live our daily lives- from start to finish. Not only does our brain play a part in the way we wake up and sleep, this integral organ works all throughout the day to keep us moving.
As Satya is not only concentrated on helping the body prosper, we are also committed to helping the mind blossom. We are so conscious of what we put in our bodies to keep our hearts pumping and the rest of our body in its best form, we must also make sure our brains are being taken care of as well.

Open your mind to herbs that will help you not only feel more focused, but more productive as well…

Food Scientist Heribert Watzke did a TED Talk called “The Brain is in Your Gut” and talks about the “hidden brain” in our stomach and the surprising things it makes us feel. This video brings up an important conversation about the thousands of functioning neurons in our intestines.
Watzke also talks about his works to develop new kinds of food that will satisfy our bodies and minds This talk a perfect tie-in to the correlation between the food we consume and our brain power.

We all know super hot days are steadily approaching and while many of us deal with these days by praising air conditioning or hopping into the nearest body of water, we generally forget one thing.

T O  H Y D R A T E !

Hydration is so much more than just drinking a lot of water before an intense workout or on a hot day. It is a steady, building process that ensures cognitive functioning, physical strength, and overall well being stay at peak performance.
It’s a learning curve… and trust me, I am definitely still learning.

1. Understand How Much Water you Should be Consuming on a Daily Basis
Many professionals advocate for 8 glasses of water a day (8 ounces each) or even 1/2 oz – 1oz for every pound you weigh. Make an attainable hydration goal based your body’s needs. If you don’t hit it the first time or fluctuate in consistency, remember again  that proper hydration is a building process. Don’t be discouraged!

2. Find a Reusable Water Bottle you Like and ALWAYS have it by your Side
No one will judge you… there’s an entire industry for reusable water containers! Find the right one for you and make bringing it to the office, the gym, the beach, or wherever you may go a part of your routine.
(My favorite is the glass CamelBak and all S’well products)

3. Seriously… Incorporate it into your Routine
Structure definitive times when you hydrate. Definitely a glass of water in the morning,  during your lunch break, and in the late afternoon. In addition to TIP #4…

4. Sip Consistently
Didn’t do so well on hydrating today, don’t worry! We have ALL been there but PLEASE don’t chug! Shocking your system with anything puts you at the risk for becoming sick.

5. Understand hydration isn’t ONLY water
Hydration comes from many sources, especially produce. Keeping a well balanced diet and incorporating other methods to hydrate will make your body feel amazing!
All of Satya’s Juices are ultra-hydrating. That’s why I incorporate them into my hydration routine, especially on the days where I’m craving some extra nutrients and vitamins. When I drink Satya Juice I know I am drinking a juice that is designed to keep my body balanced, tastes delicious, and is providing key elements necessary for hydration.

Made with a base of coconut milk, this thick juice is simply a delight!

The pineapple and banana provide a light sweetness that is balanced delicately by the turmeric and cinnamon.

The sprouted chia seeds do not just provide a subtle crunch, but also extra protein!

Beauty Tonic’s ingredients assist the body in building collagen. Leaving your skin radiant and refreshed.
We didn’t need to add beauty into the ingredients, you’ve already got that covered!

Did I mention it also has anti-aging properties?

(& Beauty Tonic is also our founder’s Favorite Juice!)

In the spirit of water, we at Satya are encouraging you to do something water related. Here are three tips we thought the Satya Family might enjoy!

Buy a new water bottle (hydrate, hydrate, hydrate)

Take a trip to the ocean to meditate and become one with tides.

Spend 1 minute in a very cold shower (this increases circulation and has amazing benefits for your complexion).

This week, as we welcome summer, discuss hydration, and talk about water related activities.

I would like to call to mind those who don’t have access to clean water, those who rely on contaminated water, and those who have to travel significantly to obtain any sort of water at all.

I would like the Satya family to meditate with these individuals in our hearts as we cherish the water we do have access to.

Juicing is a process that extracts the juice from fruit and vegetables with the intent

to create a juice full of vitamins, essential nutrients, with whole body nutritional benefits.

There are many methods that one can use in juicing however many of those methods

do not extract the full nutritional benefits in the produce itself.

Our method begins with the types of produce that we use and how that produce entirely

impacts the end product. All Satya juices are made with 100% organic produce.

This ensures that our juices, from the start, are free of harmful super-toxic chemicals

that are sprayed onto conventional produce. Our use of entirely organic produce also

ensures that we support the farmers who have dedicated themselves to the rigorous and

time consuming process of becoming certified organic. This means that the produce in

our juices is of the highest quality and has the greatest mineral nutrition available.

Our method continues in our juice kitchen where humans (not machines) hand

weigh and press the organic produce to ensure continuity in all the juices and

their whole body benefits. We cold press the raw produce in our juice,

which ensures all nutritional elements of the produce are incorporated.

We never add heat to our produce while juicing because the heating process

destroys key elements that are essential to our juices.

Additionally, we press all of our juices in conjunction with our orders.

This means that when you order juice from Satya, it will be pressed on

the same day that it is delivered to you or picked up.

Lastly, an extremely important element of what we do is actually what we don’t do.

We do not add any preservatives, sugars, binding agents, or water to our juices.

This means that everything you consume is being handled and cold-pressed

with integrity from the beginning, to the end.

Our juice lasts for four days from the day it’s pressed. That time frame is due to the fact that we

do not cut corners or add chemicals to force the juice to stay “fresh” longer. The freshness of our product

and its lifespan only further demonstrates our truthfulness in our method and the astounding juice that

is created. Our genuine freshness ensures that our Satya Family receive a product that nourishes

their own wellness and healthy journey.

On Memorial Day, we call back our memories of the individuals who have passed on

and those who live on in war. We can not help but be reminded by the atrocities of

war and the souls who have laid down their lives because of it.

We find it important to remember these individuals as we contemplate the continuous

impact war has on our beautiful world. We must focus on our connectivity and humanity

as a whole. We must focus on the impact we have on our world and those around us.

If we move our focus to this concept we mourn the deceased who have been and

continue to be harmed by violence. In doing this, we celebrate the resilience of our

humanity as we strive towards peace.

On this Memorial Day, we at SATYA will meditate with the wisdom of

Martin Luther King Jr.

“People fail to get along because they fear each other; they fear each

other because they don’t know each other; they don’t know each other

because they have not communicated with each other.”
